Im glad we seem to be a drinking site with a car problem. I was not expecting 123 replies from my last post, even considering a lot of my replies. But anyhow goodnight Oppo:)

Oppoholicism is a serious condition. Often times these self-proclaimed Oppo's are infused with alcoholic beverages and motivated by other Oppo's whom instigate the purchase of car parts in order to obtain more "horse power" (we believe this is a slang term the Oppo's use for their drug of choice). So many will deplete their bank accounts and even destroy relationships in order to eliminate "seconds from a lap time" or lower a "zero to sixty"- again, slang terms assumed to be referencing their drugs of choice.

Should you see an Oppo in a back alley clutching a vented disk break with a clearly different bolt pattern than their vehicle has or a blow off valve when you know for a fact they have an N/A engine.. comfort the Oppo. They can be skiddish and will immediately want to tell you about the new Miata and how amazing it will be. You know the information is just speculation but amuse the Oppo as they see it as holy scripture. Gently guide them back to their garage where they'll cuddle up with some coilovers they've had for months but "haven't had the time to install" - they'll eventually fall asleep and you'll be able to go on your way. Ultimately the Oppos are enthusiastic, though often times jaded, but their dedication is what makes them special.
